Multi-Family Housing
According to the California Sustainability Alliance, multifamily housing property managers and developer/owners can find significant energy and water savings through:
- air conditioning cycling or other demand load management /control programs
- water efficiency and re-use
- renewable energy like solar PV
- waste reduction
It is also critical to implement a regular maintenance program for the building envelope seal as well as energy and water using systems. Our Service Department personnel are expert in green systems maintenance and routinely provide these services.
We can help you determine the opportunities that make the most sense for your property. While utility rebate and other financing and incentive programs are widely available, they vary dependent on location. For instance, in California, rebates are widely available for energy efficient retrofit products like HVAC equipment, lighting, appliances, and energy management controls. While incentive types and amounts vary, we know the programs available nationwide and are adept at negotiating the maximum rebates for our customers.
We have provided both energy and water efficiency upgrades for Multi-Family Housing customers ranging from:
- individual apartment buildings
- multi-building complexes
- property management companies
- national apartment community developers
We understand the importance of scheduling our services so that the tenants know when to prepare for our arrival, and so that they experience as little inconvenience as possible. We work closely with property managers to develop and execute our programs over single or multiple properties.
